Summary
Three panelists lead the discussion on approaches to coping with pain. Cindy Edwards talked about stretches, E-cises and the un-workout that works for specific areas of the body developed by a physiologist to stop chronic pain (Based on the Egoscue Method in the Pete Egoscue book Pain Free). Michi Goto shared Japanese approaches to pain issues and their relationship with Japanese Health Insurance. Kathleen Riggins spoke about Trigger Point Therapy for muscular pain relief. (Source: The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook, Second Edition by Clair Davies.) A general discussion followed and participants asked questions and shared some of their experiences as well. Due to the personal nature of the topic and sharing, it was agreed that we would not record it for viewing purposes.
