Event Description

A licensed caregiver (介護福祉士), Yoshiki Sasaki, will guide us through a period of warm-up, balance, and brain exercises that will be intertwined with rest periods. Following this, he will provide members with individual support regarding posture and gait while walking.

Please come dressed in comfortable walking clothes and shoes. Bring a 60cm exercise towel and your water bottle. If you want to be assured of a place to rest, and/or do the guided exercises, sitting down rather than standing up, Please consider bringing a chair.

General Time Schedule:
We will meet at the gazebo area of Tsukisamu Park (https://goo.gl/maps/nwojGtbny1sdmBix7) at 13:00 The gazebo area is near the Uphill parking lot off Hitsujigaokadori (see attachment). It is the parking near the Takadaiya Baseball Field. The gazebo is on the left as you drive into the parking area.

13:00 to 13:45 Introduction, warm-up, balance, and brain exercises.
13:50 to 14:30 Walking: Mr. Sasaki will provide members with individual support regarding posture and gait,
14:45 - 16:00 Coffee and snacks at the bakery

Summary
Fifteen HMSC members and guests gathered on Sunday, June 23 at Tsukisamu Park to enjoy the wellness event with perfect weather and community feeling. We started with a light workout and brain exercises led by caregiver, Yoshiki Sasaki. With increased energy people moved around the park with companions, eventually ending up at a nearby café for light snacks. It was three hours of great enjoyment for all.
