Discussion: Why is Japan‘s vaccination program so slow?

Stuart Walker, moderator, and Peggy Shibuya, the Zoom host will hold the inaugural online HMSC Let’s Chat event.
Peggy will send a zoom invitation to all HMSC members in advance of the event.
At the beginning of the event, Stuart will explain the procedural guidelines for the discussion. If a very large number of members attend we might separate into breakout groups to discuss the topic. Suggestions for procedures will be welcome from all participants.

Four participants plus the moderator and zoom host were present for this Let’s Chat.
The format stuck with the indicated topic related to vaccinations. The moderator kept the discussion going by asking questions and calling on people. As the group was small the zoom host was also able to join in the discussion from time to time. We felt could probably conduct a similar discussion with up to 10–12 participants without the need for a breakout rooms. In reflection, it was shared that participants would like a less formatted structure and in general all participants preferred the morning slot on Tuesday.
