This may include what’s happening in people’s lives as well as current events in Japan or in other parts of the world.

Many of us don’t have the chance to socialize as much as we’d like to for various reasons. Those include the pandemic (of course), the long winters in Hokkaido, and - in my case and perhaps some of yours - disabilities that confine us. This group will offer the opportunity to share our joys and concerns, so the topics will vary from month to month. Everyone is encouraged to participate as well as to offer suggestions for topics that they think would be of interest to everyone in the group.. Ideally, the group will be from 6 to 8 people. Fewer is fine. If more join, we can make smaller groups in Zoom breakout rooms. There may be some “regulars” as well as people who join from time to time, which is also fine. Coming on time is appreciated!

Summary
Seven people, including the moderator and Zoom host, attended. The conversation covered many summer topics from air conditioners to salad greens. A good time was had by all.
