The subject of Ruth's talk on March 12 was to introduce the Bahá’i concept of Progressive Revelation. It is a core belief of the Bahá’i Faith that all the great religions of the world are part of a mighty plan of the one God to educate humanity to ever higher levels of spiritual and material knowledge. Each of the Divine Educators brings Teachings of two kinds, spiritual teachings and social teachings. The social Teachings differ with every Revelation because the conditions and needs of humanity are different from age to age. The spiritual Teachings are basically the same as they all teach about love, justice, forgiveness, honesty, etc. The Source of all knowledge, both scientific and spiritual, has come through these Divine Educators and will continue progressively into the far far future through further Divine Educators.
