Matthias Skade, 40, originally from Germany, has been practicing Shinnyo-en's Buddhist teachings for 18 years, both in Germany and (but mostly in) Japan. In 2011, he also joined Shinnyo-en's temple office and since 2019, he has been serving at the Hokkaido Head Temple in Sapporo.
Interested in our religious exchange meetings, he agreed to talk about Shinnyo Buddhism on December 10th, however, not as an official representative but only as one of its many practitioners.
Before getting together, he would like everyone to take a look at this YouTube video, which introduces both the Shinnyo-en community and its current spiritual leader, Shinso Ito.

For those who are interested in more, he recommends watching these two videos:

At the December meeting, after briefly introducing himself and Shinnyo-en, he would like to talk about how this Buddhist practice has influenced his life and also lead a conversation about everyone's spiritual practice.
