Golden Week will allow us to start our Walk n Talk Outings for 2022 weather permitting on the Wednesday holiday.

Summary
The Club Walk in Nakajima Park was postponed for two days due to poor weather conditions, and it took place on Friday, May 6th. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day with the morning temperature being around 25 degrees. Although several members scheduled for the Wednesday walk could not make it on Friday, we still had 9 members join our 7th Outing. The park was in full
spring bloom and Yoko took many scenic photos at different points along the way. (Photos will be added later.)
Walking in the park is flat and rather easy, so our focus was on the beauty and socialization, as members easily got to renew some old acquaintances and meet a couple of new members. I have a feeling that some of us got home and also noticed that they should have put on sunscreen. The Japanese Garden and the pond at the northern end provided the best views and benches in the shade.
For lunch eight of us went to the Farm to table TERRA restaurant located across from the northern end of the park, and enjoyed the main cooked dishes with the salad bar and fresh coffee in a lovely environment. All in all, it was the first WnT Activity of the new HMSC year where we could truly enjoy being outdoors and celebrate with fine dining at a reasonable price.
