We are off to see the roses! We will visit the Odori rose section, the National Archive Building, and the Botanic Garden.
Summary
The roses at Odori, the amazing trees and flowers in the Botanic Garden, and the perfect weather all made for a gorgeous and successful June 21st Walk n' Talk. We had ten members able to join for the walk and eight of those enjoyed lunch together at the Italian restaurant (CiCi Factory) near the Botanic Garden. Besides enjoying the amazing scents and colors of the roses, we visited the National Archive Building and were able to appreciate their varying exhibits. We walked for a good two hours before sitting down and enjoying a delicious lunch together. A few returned to the Botanic Garden to enjoy more nature after lunch. It was a good day!
